This book is the true story of a boy called Luke who comes with labels attached.

Luke is a huge character with a BIG voice and an even bigger ability to destroy peace and possessions within seconds.

Because he is smart, he knows that he is different and because none of life comes naturally to him, he tries so hard to fit in but the effort of doing that makes him fit out, big time!

Luke’s life is an honest space where tantrums, aggression and swearing, physical sensitivities, constant activity and social interaction all add to his struggle to make sense of it all and this book is integral.

Nigel Mansell is Luke’s hero and he kindly invited Luke to his place, gave him a personalised tour of his museum and calls Luke  a ‘tremendous young man’.

Our MP James Gray has written the foreword and took Luke to Parliament for his work experience.

Luke is becoming a voice for Autism in the UK and is scheduled to address the Prime Minister - Gordon Brown in February 2008 at the opening of a specialist school.

Our story has been endorsed by Eddy Shah, founder of Today newspaper who calls it ‘remarkable’

Luke’s life continues to be shockingly eventful.  He has been featured in the Daily Mail  this year, has been expelled from mainstream school and held by Customs at Heathrow for smuggling.

We are living out my second book.
